This holiday season, the Museum of Science and History offers extra wintry fun to complement showings of The Polar Express: The IMAX Experience at the Omni Theater. Enjoy these special events and activities:
Wintry Science Fun
Saturdays, November 22, 29, December 6, 13 & 20
9 a.m. 3 p.m.
Join the staff of CommunITy Studios, an innovative program funded by the National Science Foundation, for hands-on wintry science activities and fun. Activities vary daily.
- Create a holiday-themed 3-D scratch hologram
- Explore polar flora and fauna through artifacts and specimens from the Museum’s science collection
- Work with the staff to make a whimsical and wintry stop-motion video
- Set up a festive chain reaction then let it rip!

OmniAmerican Bank Polar Pajama Parties
Saturdays, November 22, 29, December 6, 13 & 20
9 - 9:45 a.m
It’s festive fun in your jammies! Enjoy hot chocolate, wintry science activities and other surprises, plus meet OmniAmerican’s Rocky Raccoon . The party is free with paid admission to the 10 a.m. showing of The Polar Express.

Starbucks Saturdays!
Saturdays, November 22, 29, December 6, 13, 20 & 27*
9 a.m. - 2 p.m.
If you’ve already seen The Polar Express, remember the hot chocolate served to all those children on the train en route to the North Pole by a team of dancing waiters? The Museum will serve free hot chocolate, courtesy of Starbucks Coffee Company, on Starbucks Saturdays. (*Begins at 10 a.m. on Dec. 27)

Visit With Santa!

Direct from the North Pole! Make out your list, check it twice then visit with Santa at the Museum. Be sure to bring the kids and your camera for this opportunity for a free visit with the man himself!
